This tree is named for its flame-red tubular flowers, which copiously cover it from late April to early June. Hummingbirds are constant visitors, sipping the bountiful nectar. Our largest specimen is over 50 ft. tall. It sets abundant seed which give the MsK Nursery one of its most choice plants.

A small, spreading deciduous tree from China.
