Youth and Family Education

totWith its relatively small size, and secure location, the garden is an ideal environment to explore with young children. The diversity of plant life helps children develop a sense of wonder about the world around them, and the naturalistic design of the garden helps them become comfortable in the outdoors.

Garden Tots Family Program

Drop in with your young children every Friday from mid-May through September for a fun nature exploration in this unique, naturalistic garden. Each week we offer a simple plant activity, a themed garden exploration, and a craft project. $7 per family, free for KBGF members, for ages 2–7.

Teacher Erin will lead her fairy followers in play and exploration, it should be a delightful way to spend our midsummer morns.
