Corydalis solida & Corydalis scouleri
There are many Corydalis out there in all colors of the rainbow besides this attractive rosy pink. Most look their best in dappled light and mildly moist soil. They mix well with other early plants, especially taller bulbs. Some will reseed by shooting their ripe black seed quite some distance from the mother plant. Extras can be easily weeded out if you don’t approve of their new location. A native Corydalis (C. scouleri) reaches about 2’, topped with a good rose red flower cluster. It can also spread with underground runners.
