Join us for Garden Stories, a magical summer afternoon of storytelling surrounded by the beauty of Kruckeberg Botanic Garden. Presented in partnership with the Seattle Storytellers Guild, this outdoor gathering brings together talented storytellers Eva Abram, Barry McWilliams, and Joanna Demarest for an engaging experience filled with folklore, historical tales, adventure, humor, and unexpected twists.

Guests of all ages — especially families and nature lovers — are invited to settle beneath the trees and enjoy stories that spark imagination and connection. From multicultural folktales and fairy stories to humorous trickster tales and historical adventures, each storyteller brings a unique voice and style to the garden setting.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket, arrive early to explore the garden pathways and nursery, and enjoy a relaxing community-centered afternoon in one of Shoreline’s most beloved public gardens. Parking is limited, so carpooling is encouraged.

This event is free to attend, with a suggested $5 garden donation.
