Reconnect with the timeless tradition of herbal healing at Kruckeberg Botanic Garden during Herbal Salves and Balms Workshop, a hands-on workshop led by staff horticulturist Heidi Koonz. Surrounded by the beauty of the garden, participants will discover the properties of common healing herbs, learn how to prepare botanical-infused oils, and create nourishing herbal salves and balms for everyday wellness.
Whether you’re new to herbalism or looking to expand your natural skincare skills, this workshop offers practical techniques, plant knowledge, and plenty of hands-on experience. All materials are included, and each participant will take home their handcrafted herbal remedies along with the confidence to continue creating them at home.
Ages 14 and up are welcome (participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult). Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
