Native Plant Appreciation Week is May 1-7. In honor of the occasion, the other day I counted all the Pacific Northwest native plants on the MsK Nursery’s inventory list. Wow! There are currently 270 native species growing in the MsK Nursery.

What a great tribute to the legacies of Art and Mareen Kruckeberg, two pioneers of the native plant gardening movement in the Northwest.

At the Nursery, we believe that our region’s vegetation is beautiful and deserves a place in home gardens. The staff strives to make many of these great species available to the public, and we love to see good plants go to good homes. Nothing makes a native plant nut happier than sharing with others!

Want to see the list of the species we currently have available? Take a look. All of them will be available at our annual Mother’s Day Plant Sale and Open House May 6-8, and many of them are available year round at the Nursery.
