Holboelia angustifolia

Another evergreen vine that doesn’t have a common name. It bears light purple edible fruit usually egg or sausage-shaped with somewhat insipid pulp. It does well in light shade getting up to 20’ but needs support from any nearby plant as it doesn’t have tendrils or holdfasts. It belongs to the Lardizabalaceae family which has 40 species all of which are vines/lianas save one shrub.
