Schisandra propinqua (Kadsura propinqua)
Bought and labeled Kadsura but now its name has been changed to Schisandra propinqua. The Schisandraceae family is also uncommon outside of warmer climates of S.E. Asia. Blooms are greenish on the outside, yellowish inside a 1” open three-petaled flower. The fruit is a cluster of bright red berries which are used in traditional herbal medicines.
