Kruckeberg Botanical Garden is located at 20312 15th Ave NW, Shoreline, WA 98177.

The 4-acre garden and nursery are open year-round, Thursday through Sunday.  Our hours differ depending on the time of the year — from March through October we are open from 10am to 5pm. From November through February we are open from 10am to 3pm.

The Lower Woodland Garden’s 3 acres are now wheelchair accessible. The Kruckeberg Boardwalk, is a 650′ raised, ADA walkway.

The property is pet-friendly, as long as they are leashed/ harnessed, so bring along your furry companions.

FAQ's (FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS)

  • Do you charge an entrance fee?
    No, but we do have a suggested donation of $5.00 per person. As a non-profit, we truly appreciate any financial support. There is a donation box near the entrance, there is also a QR code where an automated payment can be made. Or click Donate today for a secure online payment form.
  • Are dogs allowed in the garden?
    Yes, but they must be leashed, and not known for aggressive behavior. Also, picking up after your pooch is a must.
  • Where can I park?
    The garden has a small parking lot, so if you’re planning a meet up with a group, try to carpool as you’re able. Alternatively, there are a number of side streets in the area that you can park on. No parking on walkways, or private driveways, please respect posted no parking signs.
  • When is the nursery open?
    The nursery is open and operating all year, anytime the garden is open. In the winter, we do slow down considerably, and many plants are dormant and put away. The nursery has a few specialty sales throughout the year. Check the website or social media posts for dates on these popular events.
  • Do you take recycled plant pots?
    Yes, but only sturdy black pots with no labels on them. Nothing flimsy, or with garish colors, stickers or too many holes. Please email nursery@kruckeberg.org if you have some you’d like to donate.
  • I love the garden, and want to know how I can get involved?
    There are several ways to support the garden; becoming a member, donating, volunteering, attending events, and workshops, shopping at MsK Nursery, spreading the word! Follow the Support the garden tab to find out more.
  • I’m looking for a specific plant, do you have a copy of your inventory? We don’t keep an updated list of our availability in the nursery, as it is constantly changing throughout the year. Please feel free to email, or call with any specific plant requests, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
  • How old do you have to be to visit the garden?
    All ages are welcome, but anyone under the age of 12 needs to be accompanied by an adult.
  • I saw these really huge pinecones, can I have one?
    Harvesting or collecting natural materials in the garden is not allowed, sorry. We’d like everyone to be able to enjoy those really cool cones 🙂
  • Do you have weddings or ceremonies at the garden? Yes, intimate or micro events are available in the garden. Please email info@kruckeberg.org to receive the package options.
